EMQS (EMQs) Extended Matching Questions

We have included a section on EMQS, Extended Matching Questions (EMQs), as this format of question is being adopted by many medical schools for MBBS and MBChB final examinations. It is also used in licensing examinations such as PLAB.

The technique in tackling extended matching questions (EMQS, EMQs) is similar to the technique used in other types of multiple-choice examination. Read the question, analyse each item of information given and build up a diagnosis (the same principle used in clinical diagnosis). Next, answer the question posed and look for the answer in the list given.

If you have any questions or wish to give feedback on these extended matching questions (EMQS, EMQs) please feel free to post your questions or thoughts on the forum.

If you wish to contribute to this bank of free EMQS please post your contribution on the forum. It would be best accompanied by a detailed answer. Please include your name and some details about yourself if you would like to be included in the authors page.

As these are free EMQS it would be best to have questions written by yourselves.
